The Client

The Dairy believe your phone should be just as beautiful as all the wonderful things in it. They work with illustrators, photographers and designers from all around the world to create phone cases that inspire.

The Problem

The team at The Dairy don't like to settle for "Just OK" - their website did everything they needed it to do, but they needed something that represented the creative flare and class illustrated on their products. They also wanted to bring the personality of their artists into the site by making it a mix of eCommerce and Editorial; a place not just to sell, but to share the stories and inspirations of the artists from which their beautiful cases originate.

The Solution

The Dairy's stunning artwork and photography speaks for itself - so I let that stuff do the talking; large photography and video shots shine through in this project, accompanied by beautiful font combinations and minimalistic monochrome styling, the perfect combination of elegance and trendiness is achieved. The homepage creates a sense of community and personality by showcasing an even mix of products, popular styles etc. with artist's lifestyle blog posts and trends.

The Create a Case feature was designed using an accordion based structure for each customisable element (e.g. Background, Text, Font etc.) - this allows the user to consistently see the case preview on the left whilst adjusting styles and alternating between options on the right.
